Call light on, no fire, partly burned pellets in the firepot
Check the firepot and clean it. Make sure all the holes in the walls of the firepot are clear, and scrape the firepot bottom as well.
Check the thermocouple. The cover needs to touch the end of the thermocouple wire, and the cover should extend 1" into the firepot.
Call light on, no fire, unburned pellets in the firepot
Check the firepot for "clinker" material and clean it if necessary.
Check that the igniter is working: turn on the stove, wait 2 minutes, then pull out the ash pan and look underneath for a red glow from the igniter. If there is no glow, the igniter may have burned out.
Stove runs about 18 minutes, then stops feeding pellets
Check the thermocouple. The cover needs to touch the end of the thermocouple wire, and the cover should extend 1" into the firepot.
Adjust the feed rate: loosen the wingnut holding the feed adjustment rod, pull the rod up about 1 inch, then tighten the wingnut again.
Stove cycles on and off while the thermostat is calling for heat
Check the thermostat wiring for a loose connection.
Stove lights, then goes out (call light still on)
Inspect the thermocouple and its position over the firepot.
Adjust the feed adjustment rod for a larger fire.
Check the exhaust and heat exchanger system.
Check the vacuum switch and the hopper lid switch.
Check the feed motor.
