What maintenance does my pellet stove (or insert) need?

In general, it is important to keep the firepot clean, vacuum or empty the ashes periodically, clean the heat exchange area, and periodically sweep the flue (pipe) to keep all air passageways clear.

Each pellet stove has its own daily/weekly/monthly/and annual maintenance requirements. The requirements specific to your stove will be described in the owner's manual.

If you have purchased a new stove from Enchanted Fireside, or if you have bought a home with an Enchanted Fireside stove already installed, please visit the showroom for a complimentary lesson on the use and maintenance of your stove. If you don't have the owner's manual, you can usually download it from the manufacturer's web site or we can get a copy for you (if it is an older stove, you will want to make sure you have the correct manual).
