There is a small light inside the control box. It does not blink. It changes color as your stove heats up:

  • Green: The fire pot has reached 200°F during start-up. This is normal.

  • Red: The fire pot has reached 600°F. The small red light together with the large red "Call" light means your stove is running properly.

  • Amber: The thermocouple has a fault, usually a bad connection or a bad thermocouple. See Blinking Orange/Yellow Light for how to check the thermocouple, or give us a call at (800) 782-5500.
