Here are a few things to remember:
- The ON/OFF switch or remote control should be set to OFF before lighting the pilot.
- The main gas valve to the fireplace should be ON.
- It may take a few clicks of the igniter button until gas arrives to the fireplace and ignites.
- Remember to turn the valve to the ON position after the pilot is lit so that the fireplace will turn on with your switch or remote.
